What We Believe

"What comes into our minds when we think about God is the most important thing about us." - A.W. Tozer

Core Beliefs

The following are the core beliefs of New Beginnings International Church based on the foundational truths taught in the Bible. All of our teaching and ministry is rooted in and flows out of these biblical doctrines.

In the Beginning:

All Scripture is Inspired by God (2 Tim 3:16-17; 1 Thessalonians 2:13)
God spoke the Word to the authors of the Bible and they wrote exactly what He said. Therefore the Bible is literally God’s Word and it is infallible, there are no errors in it.

One True God (Luke 3:22; Matthew 28:19)
Jesus was both God and man at the same time when he lived here on earth.

Deity of Jesus (Matthew 1:22; Luke 1:31)
Jesus Christ is the Son of God. His mother Mary was a virgin. Jesus was conceived by the Holy Spirit.

Fall of Man (Genesis 3:6; Genesis 2:17
Man was created good by God, but man sinned. This fall into sin caused man to be separated from God.

Salvation:

Salvation of Man (John 3:3; Luke 24:47)
Salvation from sin is received by repenting to God and letting your faith in Jesus Christ.

Ordinances of the Church (Matthew 28:19; Mark 16:16)
The ordinance of the church is water baptism by immersion in water. This is an outward expression of what God has done inside. It signifies that you are dying to your old way of life in sin and rising to a new life in Christ.

Baptism of the Holy Spirit (Acts 1:4; Acts 1:8)
Everyone is encouraged to seek the promise of God, the baptism in the Holy Spirit and fire.

Initial Physical Evidence of the Holy Spirit (Acts 2:4; 1 Corinthians 12:4-10)
The baptism of the Holy Spirit is witnessed by the initial physical sign of speaking with other tongues as the Spirit of God gives them utterance.

Sanctification:

Sanctification (Hebrew 13:12; Hebrews 12:14)
Sanctification is an act of separation from what is evil, and of dedication to God.

Mission of the Church (Ephesians 2:22; Hebrews 12:23)
The Church is the Body of Christ, the habitation of God through the Spirit, with divine appointments to fulfill the great commission.

The Ministry (Mark 16:15-20; Ephesians 4:11-16)
A divinely called and scripturally ordained ministry has been provided by our Lord for the fourfold purpose of leading the Church in:

Divine Healing (Isaiah 53:4,5; James 5:14-16)
Divine healing is an integral part of the gospel. Healing was provided for us through Jesus’ death, burial and resurrection, and is the privilege of all believers.

End Times:

The Blessed Hope (Romans 8:23; Titus 2:13)
The second coming of Christ includes the rapture of the saints, both those who died in Christ and those that are still alive, which is our blessed hope.

Millennial Reign (Zechariah 14:5; Matthew 24:30)
The second coming of Christ will be followed by the visible return of Christ with His saints to reign on earth for one thousand years.

Final Judgement (Revelation 19:20; Revelation 12:8)
Whoever is not found written in the Book of Life, together with the devil and his angels, the beast and the false prophet, will be sent to the everlasting punishment in the lake of fire and brimstone, this is the second death.

New Heaven and New Earth (2 Peter 3:13; Revelation 22)
We, according to His promise, look for new heavens and a new earth where there will be righteousness.
